What you will do

Credit Account Manager-Johnson Controls Hitachi will be reporting to the Finance Manager in Bratislava. You will be based in Istanbul and be a member of our international credit and collection team who supports our growing business operations.

You will act as a partner to country manager, team of cash collectors, sales team and corporate finance team. Your responsibilities will cover both credit analysis and collections activities.

How you will do it

As the Credit Account Manager, you will perform and coordinate vital activities in the field of credit management related to daily business, including sales outside Turkey. You will assure accurate credit checks in case of new customers, re-activating of inactive customers, unblocking of blocked customers, as well as in case of any specific need for credit check. You will communicate with designated credit insurance and broker and collect documents required while declaring customer to debt collection agency or legal team.

You will manage accounts receivable portfolio, ensure customers with overdue invoices are contacted in a timely manner and track all actions done in BBC IT tool to obtain timely payment and/or timely dispute resolution. You will co-ordinate with the Sales team on presentation of any export documents when required. You will be responsible for coordination of disputes resolution in order to close customer disputes timely, performs customer accounts reconciliations in a timely manner to resolve payment discrepancies.

You will also be responsible for releasing of Orders in related ERP and any kind of communication with respect to this. You will be communicating with the Bank, Insurance broker and lawyer if applicable. You will support the BBC team in regards of country specific payment methods.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelors (or local equivalent) Degree in accounting and/or finance preferred
• 4 year experience in credit analysis including preferably export credit and export specifics
• 4 year collections experience, including collections from shared service environment and bureaucratic customers
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Hardworking, cooperative, and positive attitude – willing and able to work with minimal direct supervision
• Flexible and able to adjust communication style regarding work with different cultures
• Very good interpersonal skills, presentation skills and time management skills
• MS-Office knowledge, especially Excel

Preferred

• Working experience at a multinational company
• Knowledge of Oracle system
