QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
What we look for
Required
The Design Engineer will coordinate the advanced design and analysis of airflow systems for unitary products, including vapor-compression refrigeration (air conditioning and heat pump) and gas heating equipment. He/she will work with product development engineers within UPG and engineering analysts at other JCI engineering centers to develop improved component and system design processes for new products. This person will also assist with the simulation of the refrigerant circuit and all the components before final design and designs are done with Creo Parametrics 4.0 and Windchil.
As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives for MEA Region and located in İzmir, will be reporting to Development Engineering Manager in Spain.
How you will do it
You will identify and actively participate in new airflow and combustion technology development projects, including component design (blowers and fans), airflow path design (cabinet effects), condenser and evaporator air-side design, and furnace combustion flow and heat exchanger design. You will support sustaining engineering activities for airflow and combustion processes and global product development teams for application of airflow and combustion analysis tools.
You will collect, analyze and interpret data for validating new and existing analysis tools and assist in the design of products and/or components, perform accurate analysis of product performance, making appropriate recommendations as needed to improve product performance and reliability. As a member of a project team, you will participate to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and provide technical direction and guidance to technicians, drafters, model makers, engineers, and programmers as needed.
You are an assertive communicator, resilient, with the ability to influence across all levels of a business, full of energy and self-motivated and a positive attitude which will help to build strong relationship with our teams across the region.
Required
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in air conditioning calculation
- Proven knowledge of VRF, chiller of rooftop techniques
- Knowledge on Windchil and Creo Parametric 4.0 programs
- SAP and MS Office programs proficiency
- Fluent language skills in English
- Military service completed for male candidates
