Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics and forwarder management
Knowledge about TSE (Turkish Standard Institute), CE applications
Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to troubleshoot effectively,

Financial understanding
Able to work in a matrix organization
Fluent language skills in English
Able to work overtime at month ends

What you will do
 
The Logistics Specialist is a key role reporting to the Head of Logistics&Distribution, MEA located in Dubai and is responsible for our air conditioning products import & export processes across Turkey. You will be based in our Istanbul Office and will be part of an emergent team that is focused on expanding our footprint and customer base to achieve our strong growth objectives.
 
You will be concentrated on aligning with sales teams, customer, production factories, customs brokers & forwarders for successful and timely product delivery and will report product delivery to compile with our sales volume. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate satisfactory results.
 
How you will do it
 
As a Logistics Specialist, you will organize shipping and customs clearance arrangements with the customs brokers & forwarders abroad, prepare customs files for shared services and follow up shipping documents from the suppliers while controlling the related payments & invoices to the exporters and forwarders. You will create PO for the orders and inform related factories about the orders, will do daily operational data entry to the operations files, will follow up shipments and customs in order to make sure delivery is complete aligned with the deadline on the contract for customer satisfaction.
 
You will also issue insurance policy through the webpage due to the delivery terms, generate weekly cash flow list for finance and execute the suppliers’ performance analyses and report to Logistics Manager. Meanwhile you will get in touch with sales teams on a daily basis in order to inform them about the potential delivery problems of their orders and generate alternative solutions and about the deadlines of factories and delivery dates.
