What you will do

The Account Manager position for Tyco Fire Suppression Products at Johnson Controls, a Fortune 70 company, is responsible for selling “Water&Mechanical Products”, mostly focusing on valves to direct customers. The Account Manager develops new customer prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of Tyco products and programs with a focus on local market accounts and prospective accounts.

How you will do it

As Account Manager, you will assist the customer in selecting the correct products based on customer needs, negotiate prices and terms of sale, ensure high post-sales satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with the customers. Following the sales act, you will be aware of the process of maintenance and commissioning on site depending on your customer relationships.

You are a hunter driven to seek and develop existing business and long term customer relationships, self-motivated. You’re analytical, perseverant, determined and reliable in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in direct sales of Fire Suppression products, especially water&mechanical
  
• Experience in fire suppression products sales to construction or contracting sectors
  
• Fluent language skills in English
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to troubleshoot effectively
  
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills and customer oriented way of working
  
• Good financial understanding
  
• Active driver
  
• Ability to travel
  

Preferred

• Comprehensive technical and operational knowledge of valves is a big asset
