Database Administrator

JotForm is an online form builder with over 8 Million users worldwide. Our offices are located in San Francisco, Ankara and Izmir. We are looking for a Database Administrator for our DevOps Team in our Ankara office located at a relaxed fun environment in Hacettepe Teknokent.

Here are the requirements for this position:

• 3+ years administration experience with MySQL
• Solid understanding of database administration, architecture and infrastructure
• Experience in adjusting queries to enhance performance
• Experience with automation of DBA tasks
• Familiarity with GCE, AWS, Healthcare and/or Financial data
• Familiarity with compression and archiving
• Experience with management of database policies, procedures, and technical standards
• Self-motivation, attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
• Excellent command of English

When you will be a member of our team, you will:

• Perform database administration and mitigate potential vulnerabilities on database servers
• Manage all database instances including installation, configuration and maintenance
• Maintain the overall database integrity and quality via data auditing, system checks, security and code value management
• Design and perform scheme changes according to needs of product development teams
• Perform all database maintenance and tuning activities to ensure continued availability and performance
• Implement best practices that will continuously improve service quality
• Diagnose and resolve database performance and access issues
• Provide high quality support for developers and customers
