What this position is about - Purpose: 

The incumbent is responsible for customs and import procedures of tobaccos arriving at Turkish customs. He ensures proper circulation of customs-related documents among JTI internal departments, the Tobacco Board, and the customs agency. 

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

• Prepares instructions of tobaccos to be taken into bonded as well as to be imported and sends them to the customs agency and leaf warehouse.
• Sets priorities for clearance schedule to guide our customs agency according to requests of the planning department.
• Prepares tobacco payment lists coordinating with Finance department. Following daily transactions of inward processing regime, supports IPR transactions, prepares necessary closing files.
• Responsible for availability of documents requested by Tobacco Board for smooth customs clearance of tobaccos. Prepares suitability certificates applications based on tobacco shipments.
•  Responsible for checking all transactions according to our principles and ensures proper filling all documents for submission in case of audits or post-clearance transactions.
  
  

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

• University degree preferably in Tobacco Technology Engineering
• Work experience is not required but is a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of English
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications. SAP knowledge is a plus.
