Product Cost Associate

Position purpose: 

Production Cost Associate will be mainly responsible for Standard costing in S4 for all material groups: raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods, following global procedures is one of the key deliverables to support the team during high workload processes (Business Continuity Plan, Cost-Roll-Out). Preparation of Cost Estimate will be the next core responsibility of the Product Cost Associate. Followed by an analysis of variances on materials: quantity, price, freight, and duty as well as simulating variances on specific categories for yearly outlooks. Supporting the team with Annual / Strategic plan preparation.

What will you do – responsibilities: 

• Calculate Product Cost for new introductions during rough estimations for markets, Cost Estimations (PLM, FCPI, other NPD project-driven), and Factory Approval process
• Analyze and report variances between actual and standard costs (both price- and quantity-wise), especially for Leaf and NTM categories, involving communication with other departments whenever needed. Together with delivering monthly closing activities "on time in full" with a special focus on SAP Product Costing processes
• Support Yearly Annual / Strategic Plan preparation for the material cost (Leaf / NTMs)
• Prepares forecast for OL / LE for material cost
• Analyze Tobacco and NTM Yields with Production, Specification changes with Quality, PPV/Lot size with MAS: Act vs. AP/OL/LE
• Prepare regular activities connected with Inventory level forecasting and reporting for Leaf, NTM, FG
• Prepare standard costing for New Year, in line with approved AP target and all global and local procedures
   

Who are we looking for – requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering and a Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Advanced level of MS Excel and good working knowledge of SAP, VBA, and PowerBI are considered as a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team worker, and able to work cross-functionally
