We are looking for a IT Director with the following qualifications to take part in the Directorate of Information Technology at our university.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Computer or Software Engineering,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in related fields,
• Highly motivated, adapting to face new challenges and able to work independently,
• Constantly looking to improve your capabilities and the quality of your work,
• Effective team management skills, communication skills, capable of technical and non-technical expression,
• Highly organized, excellent planning skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written skills in English,
• Advanced level of MS Office applications,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, maintain and implement database management systems, computer applications and software solutions,
• Develop software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and development,
• Offer expertise in software development and engineering,
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by top management,
• Identifying, sourcing and following necessary hardware, software and system revision needs as per university's IT policies
• Management of software projects (such as custom business requirement related  projects),
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency,
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to top management,
• Planning system performance optimization and infrastructure practices to ensure smooth and uniterrupted service,
• Technology vendor, third party management
• Preparing and managing IT budget,
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise technicians.
