• Translate customer needs into analytic requirements.
• Solve customers' complex business problems using innovative analytical techniques.
• Analyze large volumes of customer data.
• Support data validation, cleansing and preparation to facilitate analysis.
• Conduct customer sessions for requirements gathering, data discovery, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
• Build and test analytic models.
• Create data visualizations and reports.
• Automate analytics processes.
• Assist in presales activities that may include:
  • Engage with customer/prospect to understand the business problem and translate to an analytical approach
  • Define project scope and estimate work effort.
  • Help respond to RFI/RFP’s.
  • Build and provide solution demonstrations.
• Build a trusted advisor relationship with both internal and external clients.

What we’re looking for

• You are curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
• You have a degree in industrial engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience programming in SAS or other languages such as Python and R.
• Experience analyzing data and using statistical/analytic software.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or analytical consulting
• Experience in procurement, stock and production data analysis and optimization is a plus.

The nice to haves

• 3+ years of experience in analytical software such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python.
• Previous experience working with large data volumes.

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish.
• Public speaking experience.
• Familiarity with data mining approaches.
• Communicate with people of various technical and business backgrounds, including the ability to explain difficult technical concepts in simple terms to business users.
• Create visualizations for presenting data and analysis.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Proven record of handling increasing responsibilities and learning new technology quickly.
• Ability to travel as business requirements dictate, up to 20%.
• Ability to work with Customer on-site as business requirements dictate, up to 80%.
