Production Supervisor

We are looking for a ‘Production Supervisor’ for our company which produces aircraft engine parts in Aegean Free Zone, Izmir.

What We Are Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree from Material and Metallurgical Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering,
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in preferably aerospace, automotive or any related production industry (fabrication experience is an asset),
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing blue collar employees,
• Experience and deep knowledge in Laser/Punch, Welding, Assembly, Mechanical and Hydraulic processes is preferable,
• Competent in lean manufacturing methods and techniques,
• Knowledge in CAD module, Catia and NX Unigraphics is preferable,
• Knowledge in GD&T and technical drawing,
• Being a team member and having an analytical approach and proactive problem-solving skills,
• Coordination and organization skills,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Able to work flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team consists of blue collar employees & group leaders,
• Managing a matrix organization including Quality, Engineering, Planning departments team members,
• Managing, coaching, motivating and training of employees in production operations,
• Supervising daily manufacturing and production activities, staff and quality,
• Detailing and tracking of scrap, rework parameters,
• Reviewing the production methods in order to improve quality,
• Utilizing lean manufacturing techniques to manage directing and coordinating all activities related with the production shift to maximize productivity and minimize the cost in accordance with the quality requirements.
