Job Description

• Learn & maximize MongoDB know-how
• Lead MongoDB community in Turkey with creative ideas
• Configure MongoDB databases for different purposes with sophisticated architectures
• Support customer installations with problem solving
• Deliver health check to current MongoDB installations and recommend new architectures to resolve current issues.
• Deploy OpsManager in test & production environments
• Integrate MongoDB with technologies like Kafka, Spark and Elastic
• Lead re-modelling of Relational Applications during migration into MongoDB
• Advise customers on how to benefit from MongoDB technology by performing pre-sales activities
• Create and perform Webinars for MongoDB

Required Skills

• Min. BS degree in Computer Engineering
• Good (min. C1) level of English: Requirement for achieving product certifications in ENGLISH
• Minimum 2 years DBA or equivalent technology consultant job experience preferred
• Hands-on experience in basic DBA tasks:
  • database installations, replication, backups, loads, and schema alterations for both production and test databases
  • troubleshoot or configure the database issues
  • Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of performance
• Good understanding and hands on experience of Linux/Unix platform
• Good understanding of docker technology and containers is a plus
• Good understanding of JSON data representation
• Proficient with one or more NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, CouchDB, ElasticSearch, Solr, MongoDB, Redis.
• Javascript knowledge is a must
• Excellent in team work
• Good adaptor into dynamic working environments
• Male candidates need to complete or postpone military services for min. 2 years.
• Able to travel in Turkey & abroad
