The supply base consists of 4 strategically located manufacturing facilities in Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and Russia and has a global distribution structure in over 80 countries. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant academic disciplines, preferably master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics,

·         8+ years of experience in in the fields of sea-air-land-project transportation, import-export and customs clearance operations in an international logistics environment in a production/manufacturing company.

·         5+ years leadership/management experience required,

·         Experience in managing 3rd Party Logistics Service Providers and contract negotiation.

·         Expert in all forms of payment and delivery, including L/C transactions,

·         Knowledge of surveillance practices and transit trade operations,

·         Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing logistics cost reduction initiatives,

·         Ability to deal with complex subjects across multiple geographies and cultures,

·       Good understanding of commercial aspects of the business,

·         Fluent in English (writing, speaking and reading),

·         Experienced in using SAP MM module, proficient in MS Office programs, particularly Excel.

·         Shows leadership, strong initiative, work independently and good team player,

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills,

·         Relationship building at the local, corporate and international levels,

·         Strong planning and organizational skills,

·         Proactive and results oriented approach,

·         Analytical thinking, well-developed presentation, reporting and operational metrics management skills,

·         Completed military service for male applicants.

Key-responsibilities

·         Responsible for global logistics operations management of operational countries worldwide,

·         Ensures the right products are delivered to the right location on time and in the most cost-effective way,

·         Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, distribution and transportation services,

·         Manages the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation and customs operations within the organization to ensure that logistics service is performed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications,

·         Ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order to achieve operational excellence,

·         Identifies new ideas for the overall logistics value chain; optimizing existing processes and developing cross border solutions that add value to the Company,

·         Identifies risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution,

·         Follow-up and compliance with local and international laws, regulations, customs and duties,

·         Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external partners,

·         Monitors and reports the key performance indicators of the department and takes necessary actions according to the results.

·         Responsible for improving the current systems to assure the resilience and agility of logistics operation according to ne global facts and needs.

·         Responsible for the contract management with the logistics service suppliers.

Ensures compliance with all company strategies, policies, procedures, and processes in order to achieve operational accountability and clarity.
