Academic and Administrative Coordinator

Koç University will be hiring an Academic and Administrative Coordinator for the Dean of Students with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience (experience in academic units is preferred)
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong ability to process, analyze and interpret data using analysis tools (particularly MS excel)
•  Strong organizational skills and knowledge of /experience in reporting
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures
•  Openness to professional development and team work
• Male candidates must have no military obligations

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinates the academic and administrative matters within the Dean of Students and works closely with the relevant university units as required

• Assists the Dean of Students with the administrative needs of the unit

• Assists the Dean of Students with curriculum planning and appraisal processes
• Manages the communication with the Students and the Student Council
• Manages the Dean of Students’ courses
• Manages the communication with course instructors
• Researches, evaluates and recommends changes in rules, regulations, and policies as related to the student experience
• Serves on a variety of committees in a support capacity
• Prepares internal reports; participates in budget planning and management, as required
• Performs other relevant duties as required
