Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering from a reputable university,
  • MBA degree from a top business school is an asset,
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting firm or strategy & business development department of a reputable company,
  • Solid experience in financial analysis, M&A projects as well as new business development (knowledge of business modelling and valuation is an asset),
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills to be able to assist and advise senior management,
  • Proactive approach and result oriented skills,
  • An ability to function within cross-functional teams and work through potential roadblocks with necessary emotional intelligence and maturity,
  • Outstanding command of written and verbal communications skills in eloquent English,
  • Open minded, innovative thinker with exceptional conceptual skills,
  • Strong executive presence,
  • No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

  • Conducts internal and external analysis and assessment of industry, customers, competitors etc. and formulates strategies consistent with corporate goals & direction,
  • Monitors the business environment through strategic analysis and scenario planning techniques in identifying new business development opportunities - both greenfield and through M&As,
  • Evaluates potential mergers and acquisitions, presents recommendations to senior management on potential investment targets,
  • Takes part in every aspect of mergers and acquisitions, divestitutres and new business development,
  • Prepares detailed business plans and performs feasibility studies for new growth initiatives,
  • Liases with top executives of group companies and coordinates working teams and advisors to enable timely project management,
  • Advises senior management on potential issues from the strategic as well the financial perspective throughout the projects.
