''We are seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer for our Composites Technologies Center of Excellence.''

QUALIFICATIONS

Related person will take part in R & D and product development activities of the products in the mass production process for our defense, aerospace and machinery industry projects.

• Bachelor / Master / PhD Degree in Mechanical, Aviation or Naval Architecture Engineering of a reputable University,

• Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position,

• Advanced  level of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing,

• Comprehensive theoretical knowledge about continuity or solid mechanics ,

• Taking active role in establishing the engineering infrastructure by developing the appropriate methods for the projects in mechanical system designs,

• Use at least one of the relevant designing tools effectively (SolidWorks, NX, Rhino),

• Have knowledge and experience in structural analysis, use at least one of the relevant finite element analysis tools effectively (ANSYS, COMSOL, HYPERWORKS), interpret the results of the analysis and edit the designs,

• Have knowledge about GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerance) (ASME Y14.5-2009), making and comprehending detailed and assembly technical drawings

• Can use programs such as MS Project, MS Office, Matlab,

• Ability to scan patents, articles, catalogs, books, online resources and create preliminary examinations,

• Having strong analytical thinking, problem solving and innovative approach,

• Good at team work,

• No restrictions to travel in Turkey and abroad,
  
  PREFERABLY

• Experienced in defense industry projects,

• Able to design according to methodologies such as parametric modeling, design table, part family, reuse library, by using related design tools,

• Able to make dynamic, static, kinematics, machine elements, fatigue calculations in line with the system requirements,

• Experienced in composite material production techniques and composite mechanical tests and able to use them in his/her designs,

• Experienced in structural optimization,

• Have knowledge of design and analysis for additive manufacturing, preferably general information about DED, SLM, CPA productions,

•  No military obligation or at least 5 years of suspension for male candidates

  
  
  

  JOB DESCRIPTION

• Determining the needs and objectives according to the projects

• Performing mechanical and structural design activities in line with the defined requirements and objectives,

• Verification of designs with structural analysis and taking necessary improvement and optimization actions,

• Making documentation of the design data and the product life cycle management,

• Supporting mechanical / structural testing and verification activities,

• Monitoring and coordinating preparation of the production, assembly and integration documents
