QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or similar Departments of a reputable university,
  • Min. 7 years of relevant experience, background in Tax Audit and/or Business Audit is mandatory,
  • Retail experience in similar controlling, planning, reporting, financial analysis or auditing positions is a strong plus,
  • Excellent command of English both in writing and speaking,
  • Ability to work in flexible hours in a multinational environment,
  • Experience in IFRS, Analysis Techniques and Financial Statements,
  • Proven capability of working effectively in a demanding and pressured environment,
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles for financial analysis purposes,
  • Strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel and Powerpoint),
  • Strong business mindset and excellent problem solving and analytical skills,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
  • No restriction to travel internationally,

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensuring the coordination of the flow of financial information between countries and Turkey,
  • Controlling monthly closing files for international subsidiaries prepared in the specified formats,
  • Reconciliation of financial information through supporting documents,
  • Balance Sheet, Income Statement and General Expenses in the budget preparation process to ensure coordination with the Department of Budget Reporting of the information flow between Turkey and countries in cooperation and play an active role in the budget process,
  • To be a team leader in the financial statements of foreign subsidiaries,
  • Defining and disseminating Financial Affairs’ standards and procedures through countries,
  • To provide trainings for Finance department of foreign subsidiaries and outsource accounting companies about the implementation of financial standards and procedures,
  • Ensuring the completeness and compliance of instructions and guidelines applied by the financial functions in foreign countries,
  • To contribute to the establishment of the effective organization for Finance department in foreign countries and to take part in the selection of the outsource accounting company which will be cooperated in new country entrances.
