Senior Lawyer

Koton

       ·       Graduated from the Faculty of Law,
·       At least 8 years of experience in a similar role,
·       Excellent command of written and spoken English,
·       Experience in drafting and negotiating domestic and international agreements, including but not limited to lease, commercial purchase and sale, franchise agreements;
·       Experience in international incorporation procedures is a plus,
·       Inclined to teamwork,
·       Analytical thinking, solution oriented,
·       Strong follow-up and organizational skills.

İŞ TANIMI
We seek candidates for the position of “Legal (In-House) ” in Koton Headquarters / Legal Department located in İstanbul/European side:

·       Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing domestic and international purchase and sale, commercial lease agreements, franchise agreements, license agreements and other types of agreements, in communication with various departments,
·       Co-ordination and follow-up of international incorporation procedures,
·       Co-ordination and follow-up of domestic and international Intellectual Property matters,
·       Diligent supervision of litigation, enforcement proceedings and risk analysis,
·       Following up and/or preparation of all kinds of lawsuits, enforcement proceedings, notices of levy, assignment notifications, notices and other documents within the Legal Department and/or with the outsourced law firms,
·       Arranging strong communication amongst the Legal Department, the relevant departments of the Company and the outsourced law firms, ensuring timely and proper instructions to the law firms and obtaining accurate lawsuit and enforcement proceeding reports from such law firms,
·       Diligent supervision of corporate maintenance activities for group companies, managing corporate issues of the Company and its foreign subsidiaries and their day to day corporate law issues, including but not limited to preparation and revision of the relevant documents of the general assembly and board of directors’ meetings, proxies, as well as conducting relevant trade registry and notary procedures,
·       Close communication with global subsidiaries,
·       Follow-up and implementation of protection of personal data procedures,
·       Drafting legal memorandum and legal reports in comprehensive manner on subjects relating to Company’s business,

·       Will report to Legal Director in Koton Headquarters.
