Kozen Survey Co, a marine survey company, seeks to employ a surveyor to our Tuzla- Istanbul Office - who has seagoing experience as an Engine, Deck Officer, or Naval Architect - to perform various kinds of marine surveys. 

Kozen is located in Rotterdam/Netherlands, which is quite close to one of the most significant port regions of Europe and Our Kozen Office in Rotterdam is capable of covering an area of Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK. Moreover, we, as Kozen, are capable of covering all European regions together with both Kozen offices (Rotterdam and Istanbul).

Kozen is also located in Tuzla/Istanbul which is at the east side of Istanbul that contains one of the most significant repair shipyard areas in Turkey and quite close to Yalova repair and new building shipyard area, quite close to the Gulf of Izmit (loading ports & steel mill and makers) as well.

Since 2011, KOZEN has been providing the following services;

- Carry out Loss Prevention and Damage Survey on the Vessels,

- Carry out Ultrasound Water Tightness Test by SHERLOG and CARGO-SAFE devices

- Carry out Cargo/Hull/Engine Damage Surveys,

- Carry out Pre-Purchasing Surveys,

- Carry out ISM/ISPS Internal Audits for Management/Operator Companies,

- Carry out Monitoring of Loading / Discharging Operations,

- Carry out On Hire/Off Hire Cargo Hold Inspections

- Carry out Bunker Quantity Surveys,

- Carry out Draught Surveys,

- Carry out Annual Flag Inspections for Panama and Dominica Flag Administrations,

Qualifications for Marine Surveyor 

 • Graduated from Engine or Deck department of a Maritime Faculty or a Maritime College. 

• Engine, Deck Officer, or Naval Architect on the merchant vessels with a minimum of 2 years of sea-going experience. 

• Able to work even night hours and weekends, when required. 

• Proficient in English. 

• Able to perform surveys out of Istanbul and Turkey, If needed. 

• Military status for male candidates; should be already completed. 

• The driving license should be already obtained.
