KPMG Forensic Services is responsible for privately held fraud and corruption related investigations & financial dispute resolution and litigation support (subject matter expert report preparation for local and international cases) & corporate intelligence and background investigations & fraud risk assessments and corporate compliance program reviews & fraud and corruption prevention management & retrospective cyber investigations.

Our dynamic and talented department is currently seeking the right candidate for a career opportunity as an Analyst.

Forensic Analyst will work with KPMG clients in forensic services projects whilst also contributing to the preparation of topnotch project deliverables. He/she will possess a good opportunity for self-development by being part of KPMG team in providing high value consultancy.

The successful Analyst will:

- Actively engage in required project steps and to do.

Focus on development by researching, sharing and consulting through project requirements and challenging goals

- Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn and develop himself/herself.

- Participate key components of multiple Forensic Services engagements, including teamwork, analysis, preparation of engagement deliverables

- Begin to develop specialization and knowledge in specific industries/practices

- Demonstrate willingness to obtain a good understanding of clients’ business

Key Expectations:

- This is an entry level role after completing a university degree or relevant studies

- Receives and responds to the directives of senior team members (Consultant, Senior Consultant and Manager) in completing tasks and assignments

- Provides support and assistance on projects

- Begins to build technical knowledge in relevant service line

- Meets or exceeds individual and team goals and supports KPMG Employer of Choice, office and practice initiatives

- Manages and plans own time and tasks, determines priorities; works with other teams for research or to resolve issues

- Keeps management and senior team members informed on significant developments and progress on the engagement

Qualifications:

- 0-1 years of relevant experience

- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, economics or related areas is preferred

- Strong proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Strong analytical, research, sampling, and quantitative/data analysis abilities

- Encouraged to obtain certifications (CFE, CIA, CRMA, etc.) that are highly respected in the profession and recommended for career growth

- Personal interest in fraud schemes, investigations, litigation is a plus

- Personal interest in Cyber security such as network topology (OSI Layers), endpoint detection and protection solutions, IDS / IPS knowledge is a plus

- Personal interest in forensic technology tools such as EnCase, FTK and Intella is a plus

- Database knowledge such as SQL is a plus

- High level proficiency in English

- Willingness to travel
