In-House Lawyer

In our company operating in İzmir; We are looking for an in-house Lawyer who will work in coordination with the departments and be part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, review and supervision of contracts, protocols and agreements to which the company is or will be a party in legal terms,

• Following the changes in the legislation, informing the relevant departments and taking protective legal measures in line with the possible legal risks in the internal practices related to the changes.

• Advise on data privacy matters related to data collection, storage, use, sharing, and retention, including cross-border data transfers.

• Conduct training and awareness programs for employees  I) on privacy and data protection topics to foster a privacy-conscious culture within the organization; ii) on Compliance topics to raise and maintain awareness regarding these issues.

• Preparation of the Company's documents such as general assembly, board of directors and signature circulars and following up the registration process.

• Providing research, counsel, and guidance on legal questions or issues of business units,

• Preparing and reviewing contracts and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters to protect the organization's legal and business interests,

• Analysing and identifying legal risks and implications.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Law Faculties of Universities,

• At least 5 years experience in Labor Law, Law of Obligations, Commercial Law and PDPL (“KVKK”) legislation,

• Experience in developing and implementing privacy compliance programs and managing data breach incidents.

• Working in the legal departments of companies and/or providing legal consultancy to companies in law offices.

• Excellent verbal and written skills in Business English,

• Able to use UYAP and MS Office applications effectively,

• To be able to follow the legislation in force in relation to the field of activity and the changes in the legislation,

• Good command of contract preparation and review details,

• Team-oriented, sense of high responsibility,

• Researcher and systematic.
