We are looking for a Business Partner Controlling to be based in Eskişehir, Turkey.

The Business Partner Controlling Turkey is a key interaction point for the business to provide high-quality consulting and insight-related and knowledge-based controlling services from a functional perspective and to improve decision making. Business Partners Controlling typically have specific business, product, market and/or customer knowledge besides strong functional know-how.           


This position influences and interacts with different levels of the organization. He/she has been assigned Controlling responsibility for legal entities in Turkey as part of the Mediterranean region. The Business Partner Controlling supports local and regional managers in implementing and executing the businesses operative and strategic targets by providing high quality financial analysis and advice. He/she manages interfaces and triggers permanent improvement of Controlling activities in his/her area of responsibility in close cooperation with Expert Hubs, other BP teams, related functions and business.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact and interface between function and business for knowledge-based activities
  • Proactively consults and works with the business to solve complex issues and to develop adequate solutions. Acts as advisor and integrator
  • Supports business in the decision-making process with adequate information, reports and analytics
  • Manages and supports improvement projects
  • Supports the implementation and monitoring of functional KWS-wide policies, standards, rules and guidelines
  • Executes financial planning and forecasting processes in his/her area of responsibility, supported by Global Transaction Center and Expert Hubs; challenges assumptions with a profound knowledge of market and company´s development, focussing on achieving business targets and evaluating chances and risks
  • Pro-actively provides high quality analyses to support manager decisions in operative and mid-longterm steering of the business; pushing permanent improvement and capturing potentials
  • Collects and evaluates Controlling demands of the business (structure/content) and provides solutions supported by Expert Hubs and Global Transaction Center, striving for utmost usage of standardized processes and reports
  • Performs regular business profitability reviews with respective managers and monitors adequate measures
  • Generates scenarios together with management for changed/new processes or business models
  • Liaises with other BP teams for intercompany and cross country/region activities
  • Supports quarterly and year end closing processes according to respective processes and timeline

  • Over 5 years of experience in the field of Controlling
  • 5 years of work experience in globally acting industry environment
  • Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken)
  • Profound business knowledge
  • Experience in relevant IT systems (Microsoft, SAP FI/CO and other)
