We are looking for a  React Native Developer who strives to develop a first class codebase using Angular best practices and delivers a streamlined user experience.

As a React Native Developer within Lely, you will responsible for implementing a complete user interface in the form of a mobile and desktop web app.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in front-end development; familiar with various design and architectural patterns and understanding of front-end processes
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Typescript), ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Experience with framework React Native is a must
• Knowledge about touch events (pan, pinch, longpress)
• Knowledge about react custom hooks (useRef, useEffect, useCallback, useState)
• Strong functional programming knowledge.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written; day to day interaction with Dutch colleagues is required
• Some experience with drawing tools such as react-native-svg, canvas is a plus
• Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
• Collaborative team player, strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can handle changing priorities
• Experience in Agile scrum software development processes
• Has no restriction to travel.

Job Description

• Analyzing and understanding new and existing software components and requirements.
• Reviewing technical and user documentation. Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our development group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
• Developing user interfaces for Modern Rich Cross-platform Applications with the latest Front End Technologies
• With UX researchers, UX designers and the design system; making design and technical decisions for Cross-platform projects
• Performing product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis
• Working closely with UX designers and Design System team and delivering pixel perfect front-end that maintains the quality of the user interface design
• Testing the user experience on mobile and desktop with a user centered mindset
• Performing code reviews to maintain the quality of the user interface design and the front-end architecture
• Actively participating in information sharing activities
