• 5+ years experience as a DBA on one or more of the following DB systems: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
• Solid understanding of database administration, architecture and infrastructure
• Experience in adjusting queries to enhance performance
• Experience with automation of DBA tasks
• Familiarity with compression and archiving
• Experience with management of database policies, procedures, and technical standards
• Experienced in HA multinode database systems setup and maintenance
• Database Server Performance Tuning skills
• Experience on T-SQL/Stored Procedures/Function programming and design
• Optimization of existing SQL code
• Cloud DB and NOSQL technologies is a plus
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Collaborating with software developers and other team members

İŞ TANIMI

• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL databases (on-prem and cloud)
• Responsible for working on high availability (Backup/Restore/Mirroring/AlwaysOn/FailOver) to ensure the continuity of the databases
• Perform database administration and mitigate potential vulnerabilities on database servers
• Manage all database instances including installation, configuration and maintenance
• Maintain the overall database integrity and quality via data auditing, system checks, security and code value management
• Design and perform schema changes according to needs of product development teams
• Perform all database maintenance and tuning activities to ensure continued availability and performance
• Implement best practices that will continuously improve service quality
• To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
• Diagnose and resolve database performance and access issues
• Provide high quality support for developers and customers
