QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Since 1852 Loomis has been offering the following services in 23 countries, including Türkiye; Money and valuable goods transportation, processing and safekeeping services, ATM supply and maintenance services, valuable small package transportation services, international services and other alternative services to its customers with more than 30 branches in more than 30 provinces, especially in Istanbul Headquarters in Turkey. As Loomis Turkey, we are looking for a " Occupational Health and Safety Manager " to be evaluated in the Headquarters in Kağıthane.

 

  • At least a bachelor's degree (preferably Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering),
  • Minimum of 5 years or more experience in Occupational Health and Safety (Ideally Logistics Sector)
  • Minimum B-class certification (preferably NEBOSH certification),
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 14001 Environmental Management System experience is preferred)
  • Strong planning, follow-up, controlling and reporting skills,
  • Strong communication skills, prone to interdisciplinary teamwork,
  • Ability to efficiently balance time-sensitive priorities,
  • Open to innovations, creative and development-oriented,
  • Able to use MS Office programs effectively and have good reporting skills,
  • Professional proficiency of English language.

 

Responsibilities

  • To ensure coordination with joint health and safety unit companies from which service is received,
  • To audit and report the compliance, effectiveness and efficiency of the activities carried out by JHSU companies, especially the ones listed below,
  • Risk Management
  • OHS Trainings
  • Health examinations
  • Studies carried out to prevent the recurrence of accidents
  • Emergency Management
  • Actively participating in the improvement and development activities carried out by the OHS Board,
  • To plan and implement internal audits and to ensure that audit outputs are used to trigger improvement / development activities in the OHS Board,
  • To follow the local legislation on Health, Safety and Environment, and to carry out studies to fulfill the requirements of the legislation,
  • To ensure that the management systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements,
  • To keep the Health, Safety and Environment awareness at the highest level and to develop the Safety Culture.
