QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Tailor Made Excel (TME) is looking for an ambitious and experienced Full Stack Developer with experience in web development, developing in-service analysis and reporting software tools to join its growing team. TME is a start-up, specialising in bespoke business solutions using excel and web-based platforms. Please only apply to us if you meet the below requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Full Time, flexible hours.
- Fluent written and verbal English is essential.
- Being able to ask the right questions to fully understand our client’s requirements. Thinking outside the box to exceed client’s expectations and always over deliver.
- Being friendly, courteous and polite at all times. (Essential for building up important long term relationships.)
- Remote working, reporting directly to the Head of Web Systems.
- Ability to work autonomously after the scope requirements have been agreed and approved
- Ability to work accurately at a fast pace to deliver projects on time with great accuracy
- A solid understanding of business functions to fully analyse and critique our client’s problems.
- Being able to provide comprehensive and creative solutions web based solutions.
- Being able to get a clear understanding of what is required to be delivered and when, with defined version control and user acceptance testing
- Participating in team discussions to help identify the best solutions.
- Technical planning and attending to routine team meetings
Specific software knowledge areas which are essential:
- Web Based Development
- HTML5, CSS (including responsive design), JQuery, Ajax
- Javascript, TypeScript programming
PHP programming
Web standards and best practices
Specific software knowledge areas which are preferable:
- PHP Laravel Framework
- VueJS Framework
- Experience in REST (Json) services (Web API)
- Experience in databases
If you have the following, it is a plus:
Skills & Attributes:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering or related fields.
- At least two years of coding experience in a related field
- Effective time management
- Results-driven and thrives in a fast paced environment. A strong will and eagerness to learn and improve oneself.
- Innovative and logical thinker with good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
