Project Manager of a business unit or of a larger program. He carries the product  responsibility for two or more lines or a department. S/He is responsible for product strategy. S/He determines the capacity requirements of the construction-technical aspects of projects and allocates to engineers and designers the respective roles and responsibilities. S/He monitors their performance to ensure the necessary program events timely and in accordance with customer requirements. He acts as a hub for the colleagues from program management, sales and engineering, with whom he exchanges on a daily basis to ensure the coordination of customer requirements and modifications.

İŞ TANIMI

The job holder supports the Director Engineering in efficient development and implementation of the construction strategy.
S/He manages his business unit activities / program activities targeted to meet defined business requirements and quality standards.
S/He supports the sales department in acquisition of new projects; he helps gaining and maintaining  customer contacts regarding the definition of development projects and technologies.
S/He supports the offer procedure and cost calculation.
S/He receives and distributes new and changing customer demands to the designers by reference to appropriate funding, the necessary documentation and compliance with the overall programs.
Sets operating budgets for projects given to him.
Monitors the budget in conformity with job number, labor and material cost estimates.
S/He shall submit to the sales department proposals concerning the supplier selection for design and manufacture.
S/He works together with the Vice President Engineering Europe, the construction staff and the controller and sales department to create, to image and -if necessary- to complete job numbers that refer to the products in progress.
S/He designs new components or complete seating systems and ensures the success of all projects of his business unit / his program by applying the core technologies of the company or by the introduction of new technologies; hereby he keeps track of all ongoing projects in terms of timing and compliance with the specifications of the customer requirements.
S/He manages the purchasing and testing of prototypes.
S/He attends board reviews and to launch meetings and other important meetings with customers and suppliers.
Maintains high-class communication between engineering, Tier Two suppliers and the customers.
Communicates the program status to the manufacturing technology department.
Allocates and adapts the individual technician utilization in order to optimize the program objectives and plans.
Monitors communications and the reports of the designers to ensure compliance with program and corporate requirements.
Responsible for AGILE licenses according to the activities of his business unit / his program.
Responsible for the technical management of his business unit / his program.
Ensures that the management of his business unit / his program is compliant with the guiding principles of the Magna Charta.
Ensures effective performance management and development of all employees directly subordinated to him; he evaluates the performance of the technicians and participates in the establishment of measures to improve performance and optimize the individual potential of his employees.
S/He assists the Director Engineering in technical, administrative and staff-related issues and in defined projects.
