Lab-Engineer Non-Metallic Materials

We are looking for a Lab-Engineer to join the R&D team in MAN Türkiye.

Tasks:

- Support for bus development through material-related analysis of components from test runs or component tests

- Support engineering and production in the selection and implementation of suitable joining technologies for bus applications with a special focus on bond-ing/coating/painting technologies

- Material consulting for engineering/production and support of supplier qualification with internal/external development partners

- Technical contact for internal and external laboratories for carrying out on bond-ing/coating/painting investigations

- Coordination of method implementation with Central Material Technology MAN

- Conduct ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation programs within the context of laboratory’s audit system and methodologies

Qualification:

- Master, Dipl.-Ing., in material engineering or chemical engineering with a focus on materials technology

- In-depth knowledge of various coating/painting/bonding processes, ideally addi-tional training as a certified on coating/painting/bonding engineering

- Well-founded knowledge in the selection, assessment of coated, painted and bonded materials 

- Experience in supporting supplier qualifications

- Good knowledge of the material and quality standards relevant to the automotive industry

- Good written and spoken English knowledge

- A second foreign language, e.g. German, is desirable, but not a requirement

- Several years of professional experience is desirable

- No restriction with traveling abroad
