THE ROLE

The specific responsibilities of the role will be evolving somewhat over time in response to changes in the company’s dynamic business environment, however, key priorities will always include the following:

Maintain strong ownership of the Company’s TGAAP trial balance, including extensive knowledge of figures and reasons for variances. Own the Company’s quarterly reconciliation process. Have the ability to explain variances vs IFRS reporting

Control and handle manual journals and adjustments that affect TGAAP trial balance, ensuring correctness and timeliness of all transactions

Take the lead in ensuring all statutory reporting is delivered in full and on time, with no audit issues

Simplify and streamline tools and processes for TGAAP month-end and associated reporting. Understand and be able to handle the complete IFRS reporting process when needed

Contribute towards improvement of internal controls, strengthening the Company’s ability to identify financial risks and effectively managing them

Lead the optimization of the Company’s tax position

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Competencies

Bachelor degree in Accounting. CA/CPA, or working towards qualification

3-5 years’ work experience or more

Full understanding of TGAAP and IFRS

Strong proficiency in Excel

Hands-on experience in ERP systems (e.g. Logo)

Strong spoken and written English
