We are currently looking for "Transportation Systems Senior Specialist" based in Bursa.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field,

• Min 6 years experience in domestic and international project transportation (Oversized and heavy cargo transportation),

• Experience in transportation organizations all over the world,

• Experience in purchasing related to all transport modes,

• Project management skills,

• A strategic mindset to drive effective and sustainable solutions,

• Strong planning and organizational skills,

• Adaptability and flexibility,

• Strong business partnership and interpersonal skills,

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment,

• Very good command of English,

• Openness to new ideas,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To manage the process with the stakeholders by making all the necessary arrangements for the delivery of all machinery and equipment purchased within the MFI organization to the relevant locations,

• Working in collaboration with the Industrial Investments purchasing department

• Organizing machinery and equipment transportation requests within MFI locations, in consultation with stakeholders,

• To state the transportation purchasing department of the need by examining the special project transportation requests and deciding on the transportation mode and vehicle type,

• To provide volume information to the purchasing department to be made of the annual special project transportation budget,

• Developing a system with the IT team to track and report special transportation demands

• To follow the whole process closely in order to deliver the organized transportation requests to the relevant location without any problems,

• Making vehicle inquiries from contracted companies for loads that can be transported by mega trucks and containers,

• To follow up the transportation operation processes and to resolve any possible problems with the related parties (shippers, suppliers, customers, holding production units, warehouses, etc.),

• To follow up the criticalities that may occur on the route and to inform the superiors and relevant units when necessary,

• Controlling the transportation budget and reporting KPI regularly.
