MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 180 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a PURCHASING ENGINEER in our growing company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering department of universities,
• Good at MS Office (especially on Excel),
• Good command of English both verbal and written,
• Having improved reporting skills,
• To be able to take initiative,
• Compatible with teamwork and having high communication skills,
• Sensitive about the follow-up of the negotiation process and interaction with other departments,
• Able to work planned and organized,
• Can keep up with flexible working hours and busy work pace,
• No travel restrictions
• Completed military service for male candidates,
• No restriction for travelling
• Candidates who lives in İzmir / Üçkuyular, Balçova, Narlıdere, Güzelbahçe, Seferihisar, Urla locations will be our priority

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To ensure the development of the supplier portfolio, to carry out supplier relations effectively,
• To carry out purchasing processes and improve purchasing management, to play a role in structuring processes,
• Creating regular reports by making price, quality and cost analysis,
• Contributing to the execution of Supply and Stock / Warehouse Management processes,
• Preparing equipment and purchasing studies for the products to be used in new projects,
• Making product and payment terms agreements with suppliers on an annual basis,
• Making preliminary studies and reporting by providing coordination with the design and project group in new projects at the "early stage"
