MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 120 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a PURCHASING SPECIALIST in our growing company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To search the supply conditions and prices of the materials to be purchased from domestic and abroad in line with the purchase demands, to ensure that the offers are received from the supplier companies and that the bidding process is carried out,

• Managing the bidding processes of approved purchase requests,

• Ensuring the development of the supplier portfolio, conducting supplier relationships effectively,

• Carrying out procurement processes and improving procurement management, playing a role in structuring processes,

• To create regular reports by making price, quality and cost analysis,

• Contributing to the execution of Procurement and Stock / Warehouse Management processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably graduated from industrial or mechanical engineering,

• 3-5 years of experience in technical procurement and / or turnkey projects,

• Good knowledge about MS Office applications, especially Excel,

• Good command of English both verbal and written,

• Ability to work planned and organized,

• Compatible with team work and advanced communication skills,

• Can keep up with flexible working hours and busy work tempo,

• Have no travel restriction,

• Have completed military service or exempted from military service.
