Mata Automotive is a global leading full-service supplier of decorative interior and exterior components in original premium materials to the global automotive industry. Mata is hiring “ Quality Engineer ” for its Turkey factory with the below job descriptions and  qualifications.

• Fluency in English is a must, (Knowing German is a plus)
• Bachelor degree, especially in Mechanical, Automoitve, Industrial, Metallurgy and Material Engineering,
• More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing in the automotive industry is required,
• Experience in customer relationship management, 
• Extensive experience for dimensional inspections and equipment, manual and CMM,
• Extensive experience for Suppliers Audit,
• Having quality management system essential knowledge, certification is an asset,
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA,
• Experience in Microsoft Office Programs,
• Perforquality improvement activities for suppliers to eliminate risks to improve quality performance,
• Determining development plans for suppliers to support performance increase,
• Strong communication skills and co-operation attitude,
• Being self-discipline; having the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills,
• Having a valid driving license and an active driver,
• No restriction for travel,
• Located in Istanbul Anatolian side especially in Maltepe, Kartal, Pendik, Tuzla, Gebze, Çayıorva and Darıca.

Job Describtions;

• Assess and qualifies new suppliers
• Ensures all aspects of the customer agreement are closed before the awarding of a new business
• Ensures the supplier follows the Process "Develop & Launch" supplier development and advanced quality planning process through periodic detailed reviews with supplier program and plant management
• Providing correct products on ttime as the production team's expectation and requirements,
• Manages supplier part approval (PPAP) documentation and determining the quality risks.
• 8D studies, 
• Establishes quality targets with suppliers; monitors their performance in comparison to the targets to evaluate supplier quality performance
• Follow up KPIs.
• Works with given Problem / Focus Suppliers to improve Quality Performance and verifies the required action's for effectiveness.
