Blockchain/Ruby On Rails Backend Developer

We are new funded company based in Istanbul with roots in Europe. Our focus is to build innovative Blockchain related Software. For our journey we are looking for talented highly skilled team members.

For all open positions, English is a must.

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team in Taksim, Istanbul on a full-time basis for 40/h a week.

 Your tasks:

• You work in agile teams on our web and mobile products and ensure a high quality of our software
• You design and develop backend services
• You design the system and API that connect its components
• You architect, design, develop, deploy, evolve, and operate distributed systems in a DevOps way
• You maintain and improve the overall architecture of our existing system
• You developing smart contract for the blockchain ecosystem.
• You work with experts from different technological backgrounds and countries, learn from your highly experienced colleagues and share your knowledge

Your profile should look like the following:

• You are willing to learn or are proficient in Rails, Solidity and experienced in working with Microservices. We don't mind if you are a Java-Veteran, NodeJS-Guru or Pythonista. We think a good developer can master every language, and Rails/Solidity is a perfect match for our system and style.
• You are comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in English.
• You have experience with the design and development of REST APIs
• You feel comfortable in an environment with high complexity
• You are eager to maintain and improve the overall architecture of our existing system as well as love to work on greenfield projetcs.
• You have experience in working with Docker and potentially container orchestration technologies.
• You have strong analytical skills and are willing to come up with new and innovative ideas and solutions
• You have a mentoring mindset, are motivated and engaged in improving the team processes and technical knowledge to excellence

Bonus: You have previously build a DEX, CEX, DeFi Products or other financial Products.
