QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Qualifications:


Graduate or Postgraduate degree in in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial/Management Engineering, Mathematics or MIS
2-4 years of work experience in controlling / finance area
Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is an asset
Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications & SAP FI/CO and/or BPC, and in local and international accounting principles (IFRS)
High analytical skills, structured way of thinking and working, problem solver & self-initiator
Social competence & teamwork ability
Able to work with tight deadlines


Job Description:

 

Responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars New Vehicle Sales Controlling
Product Pricing: New Product launch & repo pricing incl. content analysis, feasibility studies for Overseas pricing council. Evaluating price/volume strategies to achieve a profitability focused sales performance. Monthly premium corridor review.
Financial Planning: Preparing, reporting and monitoring business plans (FTR, OP/EA), financial studies and forecasts
Monthly Financial Closing Reporting: Preparing monthly closing reports, conducting financial analysis & tracking KPIs, preparation of all necessary ad hoc reports and early warning indicators
Discount Management: Evaluating monthly sales conditions & single discount cases to achieve a profitability focused sales performance 
Supporting Transfer Price calculations for local RoS target achievement at MBC and follow-up of transfer prices on regular basis
Risk & Opportunity Management: Responsible for whole MBO and MBC Risk & Opp. Management process incl. DRIMS entries
Developing system and process optimizations and maintaining price/campaigns in related systems
Supporting MBO Corporate Controlling in planning of Balance sheet items in plan periods (OP/EA)
