Job Description:

• Preparation and execution of negotiations for the responsible procurement scopes in terms of on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
• Analysis of the procurement markets, evaluation of suppliers and determination of supplier awardings
• Adopt appropriate procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices
• Participation in Global Lead Buyer Workshops and intensive cooperation with our global organizations
• Development of the material group and definition/creation of supplier strategies
• Ensuring competitive material costs within the global market by using the best/suitable methods during the development phase and entire life cycle
• Supporting activities in new product projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor‘s degree in engineering fields
• Fluent in English (German is a plus) to communicate effectively both verbally and written
• Able to analyze technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Team spirit, high communication- and integration skills
• Willing to travel (local and international)
• Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs
• Know-how in automotive market and Turkish supplier landscape is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience at procurement in a production environment
