QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/ Information Science preferred or equivalent work experience,
• 5+ yrs. of experience in similar position ,
• One of the following professional security management certifications; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials ,
• Ability to execute multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines ,
• Demonstrated experience working with technical and non-technical staff ,
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience ,
• Experience securing hosted solutions (SaaS and PaaS) ,
• Experience securing and managing mobile computing environments ,
• Working knowledge of cryptographic technologies, security protocols, security analysis and risk management ,
• Experience with security protection systems such as SIEM, Antivirus, GRC, DLP and Encryption enterprise-class suites and UTM and NextGen firewall deployment ,
• Deep knowledge of a broad range of IT Security, Controls and Service Delivery standards and frameworks for example, International Standards Organization (ISO) 27001, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Control Objectives for IT (CoBIT), and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) , GDPR
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English; German is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Consult and advise IT security and infrastructure teams worldwide regarding infrastructure security architecture. Establish new technologies, tools and best practices in the markets, including requirements gathering, proof-of-concept and pilots.
• Oversee the development, deployment and use of consistent infrastructure security architecture practices to promote interoperability and manageability. This includes clients, clouds and datacenter.
• Develop infrastructure security architecture standards as well as enablers and processes for maintaining architectural artifacts.
• Perform cyber security architecture reviews in alignment with Daimler AG and Daimler Mobility AG and other relevant stakeholder requirements.
• Gather business and application requirements, identify and derive technical security solutions.
• Leverage global tools and techniques, identify best practices to consistently capture, model and analyze security architecture options.
• Develop and provide implementation guidance on a global, regional and market level.
• Maintain a consistent set of reference infrastructure security architectures and artifacts.
• Perform reviews of security configurations and changes in the regions, globally  and markets.
• Review existing architectures to identify opportunities to incorporate innovative approaches like Cloud Security Architecture, Mobile Platforms, Secure Gateway, CASB and so on.
• Advise and consult the local, regional and global IT infrastructure organization regarding cyber security architecture.
• Advise and consult the local, regional and global Daimler Mobility AG IT security organization regarding cyber security architecture.
• Provide support for proof-of-concepts, pilots and roll out’s of security technologies, tools and best practices.
• Participate in incident response activities.
• Support global, regional and local incident triage activities and tracking of critical cybersecurity incidents from initial detection through final resolution.
• Assist in handling security incidents from Daimler cybersecurity team.
• Assist with and participate in annual incident response training to ensure readiness across the globe.
• Support reporting of critical incidents as appropriate.
