Mérieux NutriSciences Turkey is looking for “Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory Responsible”, who will be responsible in monitoring and executing the reporting of the tests in time with correct results and always be on board for managing, leading and developing his/her team.

• Conduct sample preparation
• Perform DNA extractions for molecular testing and perform PCR and Elisa Tests
• Update and train Molecular Biologists
• Maintain responsibility for providing daily supervision of high complexity test performance
• Assure that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications.
• Ensure that the test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is functioning properly.
• Evaluate the competency of all testing personnel and assure that the employees maintain their competency to perform test procedures and report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently.
• Ensure that the processes and the executions are in line with the SOPs
• Adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies, documents all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
• Coordinate workflow daily to ensure timely analysis, reporting of customer samples, and handling the daily/weekly/monthly scheduling, including lab rotations.
• Regulates all Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Inspection (QI)/Quality Control (QC) to ensure laboratory standards and regulations are maintained

 your skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Molecular Biology & Genetics Engineering.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in performing molecular testing including tests classified as “waived, moderate or high complexity.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience developing verification/validation plans is preferred.
• Strong Knowledge in ISO 17025 is critical
• Strong technical skills in PCR, RNA & DNA Isolation is must
