Essentra Components are a global market leader in plastic injection molded, vinyl dip moulded and metal components. Part of Essentra PLC, an established FTSE 250 business, working within industries such as automotive, construction, electronics and medical.

We supply low cost injection moulded components used by manufacturing companies in their manufacturing process. Our primary target is B2B Manufacturers i.e. companies who build products used by other manufacturing companies. To do this we combine the flexibility and expertise of being a manufacturer along with the broad range and high service ethos of being a distributor. We operate in 27 countries worldwide with 11 manufacturing facilities and 24 logistics centers which together serve around 90,000 customers.

A vacancy has arisen for a “Quality- Supplier Development Executive” within the Quality department at Essentra Components(Silivri/İstanbul/Turkey).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably from Mechanical, Metarials or Metallurgy departments of universities
• At least 6 years of experience in a supplier development, supplier quality
• Good command of English,
• Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems (MSA,   APQP, FMEA, PPAP etc.),
• Experienced in Production Methodology and System Development,
• Strong communication skills, teamworking, analytical thinking, follower and result oriented
• Good command of MS Office programs
• Living or be able to in Silivri, Beylikdüzü, Selimpaşa, Büyükçekmece, Avcılar and Çorlu

Job Description

• Coordinating supplier development activities, preparing periodic and annual reports,
• Organizing and carrying out system and process audits of domestic and foreign suppliers,
• Reporting of supplier audit results,
• Following up action plans and CAP processes created according to the audit results
• Participation as auditor during supplier trial and commissioning,
• Following the Supplier Performance Evaluation, taking necessary actions for performance improvement. Carrying out system development studies regarding supplier performances,
• Ensuring the correct and timely management of equipment / mold / process design and production, qualification stages from the selection of the company to the approval of starting mass production in accordance with the APQP process during the commissioning phase of the new product,
• To organize supplier trainings within the scope of Quality Campus activities and to train supplier employees when necessary, to provide the necessary training and performance tracking system trainings of the manufacturer when the new manufacturer is activated, to provide in-company employee awareness and internship training,
• Auditing and reporting the compliance of potential suppliers,
• Taking an active role in internal audits,
• To take an active role in customer and certification audits.
