Senior Corporate Communication Manager

The Corporate Communication Manager will be responsible for developing community focussed programmes and initiatives that make a significant and lasting positive sustainable impact for both our people and the community in which we operate. Additionally, the role will be responsible for designing and managing communications and engagement across a range of community, media and internal stakeholder groups to bring this Mey Diageo story to life, recruit advocates and influencers, and manage reputation issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing annual corporate communication plans within the scope of company strategy and taking actions for its implementation.
  
• To develop and implement corporate social responsibility projects that, considering the benefit of the community. Cooperating with NGOs and foundations in this direction. Managing the corporate sponsorship channels responsibly.
  
• Developing and ensuring the use of Corporate ID guide externally and internally.
  
• Developing networks and representing our company by contacting press, agency and media organisations.
  
• Proposing the new initiatives to maintain the relations of company with stakeholders at highest level by helping to prepare media interviews and develop messages to be delivered to employees.
  
• Conducting media relations studies and to ensure that new bulletins are written and distributed.
  
• Managing the corporate website and mentoring the Leadership Team in necessary conditions.
  
• Running projects by using internal and external sources in line with our sustainability policies. Making pioneering work on sustainability.
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• BSc / MSc degree from relevant fields,
  
• Minimum 15 years of corporate communications and media relations.
  
• A track record of creating developing and executing against CR objectives, with strong core functional standards and skills.  Outstanding writing and presentation skills
  
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at different levels and the capability and confidence to provide direction, coaching and support to others
  
• Substantial experience in CSR or community/society programmes.
  
• Substantial experience in ecosystem management, working experiences with mass media, agencies, foundations.
  
• Strong relationship building, persuasion and alignment skills.  Able to build strong relationships with broad spectrum of seniorities, and align stakeholders through from idea to implementation
  
• Strong ability to search, extract, analyse and present data and insights
  
• Demonstrate track record of managing effectively an ambitious agenda of multiple projects and multiple stakeholders
  
• Ability to manage success in crisis management.
  
• Problem solver, with an ability to think outside of the box.
  
• Must have fluent written and spoken English
