Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• This position is the first level of management in a Production organization and is responsible for Supervision of the operation on shift in order to meet departmental KPIs and objectives.
• He/she will be directly accountable for insuring adherence by their shift to all polices, rules, and procedures with a focus on ensuring the highest possible HSE and quality standards, including development of job safety analysis (JSA), adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Management of Change (MOC) and housekeeping
• Work with staff to continuously identify risk and improvement opportunities by conducting frequent audits and improving SOPs
• Ensure effective implementation of employee training plans and that SOPs are well understood and followed by employees
• Propose technical solutions in order to improve operating performance, environment, conditions
• Ensure timely and effective resolution/report closure of HSE and quality incidents/non-conformances
• Collaborates with other operational leaders/enablers to ensure alignment of cross-functional activities and services
• Serve as senior plant representative and incident commander on off-shifts 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Manufacturing supervision experience; A minimum of 5 years experience within the chemical or allied industry, pharmaceutical or consumer goods industries
• Advanced level of SAP knowledge is plus
• Experience in motivating and holding people accountable for results
• Proven ability to effectively lead and manage high performance teams. Solid execution capabilities
• Excellent communication and team building skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Skilled at working in a fast paced environment open to constant change in demands
• Professional written and verbal communication in English and interpersonal skills
