Finance Specialist

Our client is a full-service institutional law firm with a strategic international vision, striving to deliver high quality, commercially astute legal services. We’re seeking for a self-starter & driven “Finance Specialist -A/R” to join our A/R team. The Finance Specialist A/R will take ownership for general A/R duties. The role will be reporting to Finance Director position.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Responsible for clients supplier portals and invoice recording; 
• Responsible for matching bank credited amounts to invoices; 
• Responsible for arranging self-employed invoice & sales invoices per collections; 
• Perform periodic reconciliations with internal & external customers; 
• Responsible for aging and collections (Accounts Receivable); 
• Preparing various accounts receivable reports, such as aging report;
• Contact customers to obtain payments information and/or commitments on overdue receivables;
• Actively seek opportunities to improve processes and to standardize and harmonize processes within the Accounts Receivable Department. 

The Successful Applicant :

The ideal candidate should have university degree in economics, finance, business administration or related fields and at least 5 years of experience in collection(A/R). The candidate should have knowledge of accounting standards and very good command of English. Accounting systems knowledge is a plus. You should possess strong communication skills, be commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams across an organisation. A self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
