Mitas Energy Powerline Construction Inc. will be hiring an experienced Project Manager with the below mentioned qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 380kV or higher voltage level HV Transformer Substation Project execution experience is preferred,

• Minimum 10 years direct work experience in  project management, including all aspects of process development and execution,

 • PMP or PSM certification is a plus,

 • Experience at working both independently and as a team,  collaborative environment is essential,

 • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities,

 • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently,

 • Flexible during times of change,

 • Flexible to travel or move internationally,

 • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines 

• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating,

 • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments,

 • Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise,

 • Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity, 

 • Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills,

• Having Project Management Expertise, Customer Focus and Team Management Accountability competencies   

• Planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget,

 • Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and other departments, third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan, 

• Defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle,

• Directing and managing project development from beginning to end,

 • Defining project scope, goals and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders,

 • Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools,

 • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

 • Estimating the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals,

 • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel,

 • Drafting and submitting budget proposals, and recommending subsequent budget changes if necessary,

• Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team,

 • Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations,

 • Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzing results, and troubleshooting problem areas,

 • Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans,

 • Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and contractors, and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work,

 • Building, developing, and growing any business relationships vital to the success of the project,

 • Developing best practices and tools for project execution and management,
