Accountant

 • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or other Administrative Science departments, 

 • Minimum 5 years of experience in the accounting field, 

 • Good knowledge of Turkish uniform chart of accounts, taxation rules and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Fundamental knowledge of Social Security Legislation and Payrolling, 

 • Excellent knowledge of LOGO Tiger accounting software, 

 • Certified Public Accountant (CPA-SMMM) or SMMM candidate, 

 • Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications; specifically Microsoft Excel, 

 • Good written and spoken English skills is an asset 

 • Self-motivation, integrity, organisational, communication, time management, teamworking, analytical and reporting skills, 

 • No military obligation for male candidates, 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

 • All tasks related to accounting (bookkeeping, month-end and year-end transactions, preparing tax declarations, reconciliation of accounts, postings for fixed assets, etc.) 

 • All tasks related to statutory tax management (tax planning, requirements from legal tax authorities, preparation of all kinds of tax declarations/reports, handling the VAT refund process, tax audits, etc.) 

 • Handling the communication with all the internal and external parties related to accounting and tax issues, including the auditors 

 • Monthly statutory reconciliation of vendor/customer invoices (BA-BS forms) 

 • Preparing monthly personnel payrolls, 

 • Preparation of financial statements at the end of the periods, 

 • Performing other duties to be assigned by the manager,
