QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What does a Corporate Communications Assistant Manager do?

  • Develop and manage communication strategy of the company,
  • Prepare annual communication plans by determining the requirements related to the corporate communication activities,
  • Manage internal events and organizations PR, advertisement, promotion, corporate identity,
  • Coordinate press relations, plans and prepares the required content for company press interviews,
  • Plan and manage communication campaigns related and corporate social responsibility projects and the effective use of social media processes,
  • Manage all internal and external communication channels in accordance with vision and mission of the organization,
  • Support to coordinate critical enterprise communications to assure information released on time to all stakeholders,
  • Develop internal communication plan to drive engagement, alignment and understanding of company strategy and priorities,
  • Manage stakeholder relations and engagement into the communications team’s work.

 

We are looking for candidates with these competencies and technical knowledge;

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience including having previously held a senior communications role within media, internal communications or public relations environment,
  • Experience with copywriting and editing for marketing campaigns,
  • Experience in dealing with media contacts and PR agencies,
  • Experience of operating at strategic level in large and complex organizations,
  • Experience handling major corporate affairs,
  • Ideally experience specializing within corporate/internal communications,
  • Experience of working in a multi-site organization,
  • Previous awareness and expertise in corporate responsibility,
  • Demonstrable management experience leading communication teams,
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking skills, motivational writing, planning and organizational skills, and a creative and innovative approach,
  • Excellent attention to detail,
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team,
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate complex information accurately.
