QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a ‘Purchasing Manager’ who will be responsible;

·         Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies,

·         Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness,

·         Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms.

·         He / She will be directly reporting to Purchasing  Group Director.

Requirements

 

·         BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration,

·         Excellent written/verbal communication and reporting skills in English,

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and customs operations,at least 3 years at the manager level, 

·         Working experience of vendor management software (SAP),

·         Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications,

·         Expert communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills,     

·         Presentation and reporting skills, 

·         Team Management, 

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills,

·         Strong leadership (people management) capability with all levels of organization,

·         Manage multiple variable applications in a Matrix structure,

·         Interest in market dynamics  along with business sense

Responsibilities

 

·         Create and implement sourcing strategies, best practices, and initiatives to drive significant improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, and service levels, 

·         Managing vendor portfolio, 

·         Comparing and selecting the optimum supplier and offer considering price, quality, logistics, 

·         Research of alternative suppliers, considering quality needs and obtain cost efficiency. Improving partnership with current business partners and vendors, 

·         Controlling and approving  purchase orders through SAP systems, 

·         Negotiating on the scope of commercial, technical and legal terms such as costs, payment, delivery, warranty & service agreements, 

·         Running tenders and preparation of bid evaluation report , which reflects all the information and the detailed analysis supporting the decision to select the supplier or contractor, 

·         Yearly evaluation of suppliers/vendors, 

·         Yearly renewal of unit price agreements, 

·         Monitoring and improving the quality of service in accordance with central service agreements, 

·         Create and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for category materials covering market trends, supply assurance, quality improvement, supplier development, sustainability, and financial & supply risk mitigation.
