QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from Industry Engineering, Statics or Econometry.
• Min. 6 years experince sourcing of commodity goods
• Able to work under tight deadline, developing forecasts, negotiation skills, reporting skill,analyzing information, experience with a database management system.
• Assist in roll-out of SRM framework and conduct some (centralised) category management     activities.
• Experience with negotiations with international vendors.
• Strong Stakeholder Skills
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and timelines and keep them on track.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Excellent command of English.
• Demonstrate adaptability on changes, obstacles and adversity.
• Demonstrate professional judgment / use expertise to make recommendation or decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support the category through category plans carried by your stakeholders in order to fulfil continuous improvement regarding category management within the purchaing department to create the upmost value for the organization
• Drive cost reduction and compliance in your categories, make clear recommendations for overall cost improvement and develop strategies to achieve quantifiable savings.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure it meets or exceeds company KPI.
• Contribute to prepare the required reports to support the team’s execution
• Supporting a client in the development and management of a competitive sourcing (i.e.: RFx) event for a targeted spend category from end-to-end;
• Monitor market trends like commodity pricing and material escalation.
