QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented, team-player and sea-loving Project Sales Engineer to work with at our company Mutlu Metal, which produces stainless steel products for prestigious boat builders around the world.

As Mutlu Metal, with more than 40 years of experience in the production of stainless steel products, we offer solution-oriented partnerships to our customers in all processes from design to production.

Mutlu Metal exports 85% of its products and serves sectors such as Cookware, White Goods and Marine.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering or related disciplines, (MBA will be an asset)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within technical sales activities - R&D experience is preferred,
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English,
  • Experience in B2B international sales activities, preferably in marine or related industries,
  • Excellent communication skills, assertive, able to develop positive and reliable relationships,
  • Good ability to read and analyze technical drawing and 3d data,
  • Highly proficient to use 3D CAD modeling software, preferably NX or Autodesk Fusion 360,
  • Ability to make BOM analysis via 3D CAD modeling software,
  • Project Management experience is preferred,
  • Knowledge of welding, pipe bending, sheet metal forming and CNC machining will be an asset,
  • Result & Customer oriented, self-motivated, eager to learn & develop,
  • Analytical mind-set with ability to keep resilient and focused approach in high stress conditions,
  •  A candidate who loves the sea, sailing and boats would be very suitable for this position,
  • Military service should be completed for male candidates,
  • No restriction to travel in Turkey & Internationally,
  • The position will be based in Izmir,
  • Having a valid driving license and active driver.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing deep understanding of customer needs and expectations, sustain long-lasting relationships with current and target customers in line with the company's values and goals,
  • Identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers and building positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat businesses,
  • Organizing international and domestic customer visit organizations and participating in trade fairs,
  • Analyzing the related metrics, preparing sales, market and trend reports to develop effective sales strategies,
  • E2E project management activities, coordinating the effective fulfillment of customer demands by all technical departments,
  • Managing the meetings between the customer and the project team, physically or online,
  • Effective customer management to collect all project-related data, including technical data, scope, schedule and constraints,
  • Developing more effective, cost-reducing proposals and designs to the customers,
  • Executing project integration activities at the all stages of the tender process,
  • Supporting the project feasibility analysis process,
  • Supporting all activities to prepare project cost files including BOM lists, process plans, tooling, etc.
  • Preparation of 2D & 3D drawings in line with technical data and drawings from customers for project analysis and production operations, if necessary.
  • Executing the relevant tasks to manage the project in line with the planned goals and timeline, 
  • Preparing, reviewing and finalizing sales proposals,
  • Supporting the engineering, design and production processes of a new project, starting from the customer demand to the serial production,
  • To meet the stakeholder demands and expectations completely and on time according to the continuous improvement principle,
  • Realization of all activities in line with integrated management systems,
  • To use all the modules related to its department in the CANIAS completely and effectively.
