Network Security Specialist

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in, or Management Information Systems Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, Communication, Computer, Mathematical Engineering, IT or equivalent.

Advanced level in both written and spoken English,

At least 3 years of experience in Fortigate

Having at least 3 years of experience in these areas; Fortigate , VMWare ESX and Hyper-V, Aruba switches Endpoint Protection (SEP, CrowdStrike), SIEM (McAfee ESM)

Preferably having knowledge of; Backup and Recovery strategies, Log Management strategies, MDM with Desktop Central, Update Management strategies, ManageEngine Apps (Desktop Central, Service Desk), End Users Support, FTP, SFTP Sytems current hardware systems, RAID and disk subsystems,

Having expertise in server installation and configuration,

Having hands on experience in TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS,

Strong Analytic skills, focus on problem determination,

Ability to write technical and operational management documentation

        Responsibilities:

Install and configure software and hardware.

Manage network servers, technology tools, switch, access point, firewall SIEM and Endpoint Protection sytems.

Implamenting Global IT Project.

Monitor Ticketing tool and take appropriate action within SLA.

Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.

Troubleshoot issues and outages locally and coordinate with Global IT to resolve issues.

Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

Creating security procedures and models.

Ensuring the systems has new release patches and follow Global IT models.

Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures.
