 Main accountabilities:  

 Support the Finance Lead in properly managing the accounting processes of the manufacturing legal entity in Turkey

Providing accurate financial statements – both under USGAAP and Local GAAP.

Managing a team of 5 people to deliver financial statements, statutory accounts, general ledger bookkeeping and invoices

Improve the reporting of manufacturing costs and performance at all stages of the manufacturing process, from raw materials to the final product

Ensuring Local GAAP and regulatory compliance are maintained.

Work with the Business Partners to provide added value analysis

Ensure the control of the financials of the entity, approving or authorizing the financial transactions (i.e. posting, reconciliations, transfers, etc.)

Deliver the month end close within corporate deadlines

Support and approve the Balance Sheet reconciliation, analysis and review

Act as first point of contact for the local authorities and for the internal and external auditors as subject matter expert of the local regulations and requirements.

Manage the weekly and quarterly forecast process and submission.

Guarantee and sponsor the compliance with accounting principles and local regulations.

Work closely with local teams, finance HQ and shared service centres

Background and Experiences:

Strong SAP knowledge

Must have a manufacturing background

Must have fluent English communication, both written and verbal

Strong leadership and motivation with the desire to grow as a leader

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to ensure that all reporting deadlines are met

Be comfortable with travel as required

Takes ownership of duties and delivering results.

Degree in Accounting, business administration, or economics related degrees
