QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a Category Development Specialist to join our Sales Team, who will mainly be responsible for effectively planning and implementing Confectionery annual commercial plans to ensure NPS, TTS and NNS Targets of Total Business and per sub-category.

  • University degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in Generating Demand Functions (Sales,CCSD,Marketing) preferably on a cross-function basis
  • High level of Business understanding

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Own ICP Process in the areas of implementation and development of mechanics of channel-customized promotions and TTS Effectiveness for Confectionery Business
  • Lead POS Material Strategy of Confectionery on a holistic manner: Develop AVA Strategy driven by shopper & customer insight, plan accordingly POP, Sampling and Planogram for Confectionery Business
  • Execute ICP activities on brand, SKU, channel and customer-basis on time & on budget; drive learnings from MBP Cycle and plan with Sales Team corrective actions accordingly
  • Actively participate in Planogram Development per channel and promotional strategy of Confectionery Business to maximize ROI of trade promotions and sales incentives
  • Own Bad Goods Management on behalf of Total Business. Manages special TTS Budget dedicated to optimize Bad Goods of Confectionery Business
  • Particularly focus on Local Chains (SPM A, B & C) and Gast Stations since they are identified as Priority Channels in Market Business Strategy of Confectionery
  • Coordinate relation between DSP, Marketing and Export to 3rd Sales department, for flawless execution and product development, as part of Confectionery Channel Strategy
  • Develop a holistic approach for Secondary Sales Data, Nielsen, IPSOS to convert action-based insight into concrete actions
  • Drive Category development initiatives in local key accounts and SPM A, B & C on an end to end basis
  • Lead the Strategy from the field; regular region and customer visits to be the 'voice of the business' to sales teams, merchandising teams and customers
